As part of this dynamic celebration of innovation and entrepreneurship in Riverside County, California, we are thrilled to announce our upcoming Fast Pitch Competition on April 17th, 2025 at 5:30PM at Riverside ExCITE. Hosted by the Office of Technology Partnerships’ EPIC SBDC, this event is designed to amplify the voices of startups and entrepreneurs in our community. The Fast Pitch Competition is a highlight of Riverside County Innovation Month, offering a platform for startups and entrepreneurs to present their groundbreaking ideas in a 5-minute pitch. This year, the competition will consist of four regional events: Coachella Valley, Murrieta (Southwest Regional), Riverside (City), and Crucible. We are inviting local startups to participate in our city-level Riverside competition for a change to secure a spot at the Riverside County Finale Competition and compete with other regional finalists. This event is also open to the public for the community – the bigger the audience, the more the fun! Food and drinks will be served. Join us for a night of networking, pitches, and innovations!

Compete to win up to $2,500 in cash prizes at the Riverside Regional Fast Pitch Competition & advance to the Riverside County Innovation Month Pitch Finale for a chance at $20,000.
The Riverside County Pitch Finale Winner will compete at the Startup World Cup Grand Finale in San Francisco to compete for an investment prize of $1,000,000.

A free 10-week hybrid series designed to help you go from idea to startup readiness, which the option for 6-month extended technical curriculum. Registration for this year’s Zero-to-Entrepreneur program is open, apply here: https://ucrotp.ucr.edu/zero-to-entrepreneur
This will be our third year offering this free program for any community member that wants to explore a career in owning their own business in a technology field. No prerequisites required, just time and ambition!
Previous students have been successful in launching their own businesses through the mentorship we provide in this course and continue to be supported through EPIC programs at UC Riverside.
There will be an in person information session on Saturday April 12th at Riverside ExCITE, register and meet the mentors and instructors.
