More Than A Place
To Work

Riverside ExCITE is 501c3 non-profit organization, providing incubation for high technology startups by providing co-working space, networking, workshops and mentoring.

Located in Downtown Riverside, ExCITE is a collaboration between business local leaders, the City of Riverside, County of Riverside, and UC Riverside Office of Technology Partnerships. This unique partnership brings together campus and community resources to position entrepreneurs for success.

Mentors

In partnership with UC Riverside’s EPIC
SBDC, individualized support is provided to
each company to help grow their business
at no cost.

Access to Capital

Companies will work with their mentors to
prepare for funding readiness through
specialized programs, worskshops, access
to capital and SBIR/STTR assistance.

Breakout Area

ExCITE offers conference rooms for private
meetings, break-out areas for collaboration,
break room and recreational area.

Pay as you go

It’s incredible how valuable the connections and the right guidance can be to someone just starting started. The correct introduction to a prospective client or worker can transform an idea into a workable possibility.

UC Riverside’s EPIC SBDC provides individualized support to early stage tech entrepreneurs and companies in the Inland Empire to grow their businesses at no cost. Services include specialized consulting, training programs and workshops, access to capital and SBIR/STTR assistance. EPIC SBDC has a pool of seasoned professionals who serve as Entrepreneurs in Residence to provide business consulting to help you launch or grow you company.

EPIC SBDC grew its entrepreneur-in-Residence team to 19 mentors. In 2023, the mentors supported 169 early-stage tech ventures, including those at ExCITE. The 3,291 hours of counseling lead to startups securing $16M in capital, generated $30M in revenue, and supported 422 jobs.
