Miranda Evans is a dynamic, results-oriented leader with over a decade of experience in economic development, city planning, and administration. She has played an instrumental role in attracting several major companies to Riverside. Miranda is also focused on implementing the City’s Economic Development Strategic Plan to advance key sectors like aerospace, green technology, general technology, and medical and biotechnology.

Prior to joining Riverside, she served as Economic Development Manager for the City of Chula Vista, where she earned seven national and international awards for her initiatives, such as bilingual business resources. Miranda holds a Master’s in Public Administration from San Diego State University (SDSU) and a Master’s in Political Psychology from Arizona State University, and she has been recognized as one of SDSU’s 25 Emerging Leaders and one of 10 Rising Aztec Alumni.
